The Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising a team of cash van sales representatives to achieve sales goals and ensure excellent customer service. This role involves monitoring sales activities, providing coaching and support to the team, and ensuring that sales operations run smoothly. While reporting to the unit Manager the Supervisor has to ensure the following tasks;
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Supervision:
- Oversee the daily activities of the sales team, ensuring they meet their sales targets.
- Assign sales territories, set individual sales targets, and track performance.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to sales representatives to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Sales Strategy Execution:
- Implement and monitor sales strategies to achieve the organization’s sales objectives.
- Collaborate with the Unit Manager to develop sales plans and strategies.
- Ensure that the sales team adheres to company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, providing feedback and addressing any performance issues.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Assist the sales team in managing key customer relationships and resolving customer issues.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality service standards.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and provide solutions to ensure customer retention.
- Sales Operations Management:
- Ensure that the sales team maintains accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Manage inventory levels, sales materials, and other resources to support the sales team’s efforts.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., marketing, logistics) to support sales operations.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs for the sales team and organize relevant training sessions with the sales development Manager
- Mentor new sales representatives and provide ongoing coaching to all team members.
- Market and Competitor Analysis:
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Provide insights and feedback to the Unit Manager on market opportunities and challenges.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster a positive team environment and encourage open communication among team members.
- Liaise with the Unit Manager and other stakeholders to align sales activities with company goals.

- Receivables and bad debts
Job Requirements:
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven track record of 3 years experience as a sales supervisor preferably in the ultra fresh industry
• Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
