At EAM, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve and protecting the planet we all share. Our various initiatives and partnerships not only reflect our commitments but also enable our employees to actively participate in the company’s cycle of giving, both within the workplace and beyond.
OUR PLANET
We recognize that environmental stewardship is no longer optional—it’s essential. As a responsible corporate citizen, we have both the opportunity and the duty to reduce our ecological footprint through initiatives designed to minimize waste, maximize efficiency, and protect the natural resources we all depend on.
Key programs include:
- Ongoing partnerships with Arc en Ciel to recycle plastic.
- Installation of glass recycling bins in three strategic locations across Lebanon on Earth Day 2022, in collaboration with Cedar Environmental, to support artisanal glass blowing.
- Planting over 600 trees in collaboration with Jouzour Loubnan.
- Ongoing partnerships with Terre Liban to recycle office paper.
OUR COMMUNITY
At EAM, our commitment to giving back starts from within. We strive to cultivate an ethical, inclusive, and altruistic company culture as the foundation for making a positive impact on our local communities.
Some of our initiatives included:
- Launching a campaign for our 80th anniversary in collaboration with all retailers, with proceeds donated to the Heartbeat Association to support children with heart disease.
- Supporting the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon.
- Organizing visits to elderly residents of the Deir El Rahmeh NGO for shared meals, activities, and creating memories together.
- Providing cash assistance to renovate homes destroyed in the Beirut blast in August 2020 through Beb w Shebbek.
OUR PARTNERS
We understand that our products hold a special place in our customers’ daily lives, so we strive to distribute them where and when they can make the most difference. With the continuous support of our international principals and through partnerships with local NGOs and charities, we provide food, hygiene items, and school supplies to vulnerable groups across Lebanon, whether during times of crisis or throughout the year.
Some highlights include:
- Kellogg’s breakfast cereals Donations to over 300 families in partnership with Rouh Zouron Bel Beit NGO in 2021.
- BIC distribution of over half a million school supplies to young students in need through various NGOs, following the Beirut blast in 2020
- Danette Distribution of 17,000 yogurts to families during the 2021 pandemic lockdowns.
