Role Summary:
the Junior Financial Analyst provides the foundational data and analysis required to influence business decisions. He/she supports the financial planning cycle by maintaining reporting accuracy, assisting in budget preparation, and monitoring daily distribution costs.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Assist the Financial Director in gathering data and templates from Line Managers to support the yearly budget plan and guidelines.
•  Track daily and weekly expenditures against the approved budget, alerting the Financial Director to potential overspends.
• Assist in producing periodical dashboards and SKU-level sales reports. Support the preparation of monthly P&Ls and financial position statements.
• Contribute in preparing initial comparative reports (Actual vs. budget and actual vs. previous period) to identify unusual variances for further review by the Financial Director.
• Coordinate daily with the accounting department to ensure the maintenance and accuracy of the accounting records in order to produce sound financial reporting.

• Assist the Business/development Managers in the preparation of projected analysis for the acquisition of new business/brands.

•  Generate customized ad-hoc reports as requested by management to support immediate distribution or sales needs.

Skills required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or Financial Engineering
• 0–1 year of experience in a similar role
• Fluency in English, French is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas). Power BI is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) is preferred.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
• Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
