Job Summary
The IT Support Technician provides daily onsite technical support to users, prepares and configures computers, joins devices to the domain, installs required software, resolves basic network issues, and assists with IT infrastructure tasks under the supervision of the System Administrator / IT Division.
The role also includes training exposure to CCTV systems and IP telephony support. This position focuses on first-level operational IT support and does not include system administration responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
End-User Technical Support
- Provide first-level IT support to employees
- Troubleshoot desktop and laptop issues
- Assist users with login, printer, and shared-folder access problems
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff
Computer Preparation & Deployment
- Format and prepare computers
- Install Windows operating systems
- Join computers to Active Directory domain
- Configure user environments and printers
- Apply company IT policies and standards
Software Installation & Maintenance
- Install Microsoft Office and business applications
- Install ERP client software when required
- Install drivers and standard utilities
- Perform routine updates and maintenance
Basic Network Support
- Troubleshoot LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity issues
- Verify access to servers and shared resources
- Assist with patching and workstation connectivity
- Support basic VPN connectivity testing when required
Hardware Support
- Install and replace workstation components
- Connect printers and peripheral devices
- Perform basic troubleshooting of user hardware
CCTV Support (Training Role)
- Assist with installation and configuration of cameras
- Support connectivity testing with NVR systems
- Verify recording functionality
- Assist with maintenance under supervision
IP Telephony Support (Training Role)
- Assist with installation and configuration of IP phones
- Support extension setup and testing
- Help troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Assist with routine VoIP system maintenance
Monitoring & Inventory Assistance
- Verify antivirus status on user computers
- Monitor workstation health
- Assist in maintaining IT equipment inventory
- Report recurring issues to the System Administrator
Specifications:
- Technical degree in computer science or equivalent
- Up to 2 years’ experience in a similar role
