The On-Trade Sales Representative is responsible for developing and managing relationships with on-trade accounts, promoting and selling the company’s products to bars, restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality venues. The role involves meeting sales targets, increasing market share, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
o Identify and target new on-trade accounts to expand the customer base.
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
o Conduct regular visits to assigned accounts to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
o Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize sales and profitability.
o Promote the company’s products and services effectively to on-trade clients.
o Organize and participate in promotional events, tastings, and product launches.
o Provide training and support to clients on product features and benefits.
o Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and threats.
o Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to support strategy and product improvements.
o Achieve or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
o Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and account activity summaries.
o Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients promptly and professionally.
o Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.
o Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account information.
o Prepare and process orders, invoices, and other documentation as required.
o Ensure that key accounts are satisfied with the products and services provided by the company.
o Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders within accounts to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Skills needed
o Strong understanding of the on-trade market and industry trends.
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
o Academic background a high school degree (BBA degree or similar is a plus)
o Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
o Proven experience in sales minimum 3 years, preferably within the on-trade or hospitality sector .
